Creating a Mobile Greenhouse
Gardening is one of the best and healthiest hobbies that you can do. It connects us to our roots so to speak. One gets to commune with the natural world while one is planting a garden. The beauty that you achieve from creating the perfect garden is something that is unparalleled. It is not just a superficial aesthetic beauty, but there is also a spiritual sense of being tranquil and content. However, if you thing that there is not enough space in your lawn or if you don’t even have a lawn then gardening can be a big problem. However, what most gardener wannabes do not realize is there is such a thing as a portable greenhouse.
There are many portable greenhouse kits available in the market today. You can just go ahead and get your own from the nearest gardening tools store. These come in so many shapes and varying sizes. It all depends on your specific needs. Some portable greenhouses are as big as a small room or a shed. These usually are just like camping tents. They are staked down so that they can withstand the wind during the harsh season. If your needs and space is much smaller, there are portable greenhouses the size of bookshelves or dog kennels.
It would be a good idea to prepare before going to the store by making a complete list of the things you need to consider such as the kind of plants you want to grow, the amount of space you have, your climate etc. There is however a way to create your own portable greenhouse. You can get instructions and tools for this in gardening sheds as well. Perhaps some sturdy wooden boards and some high grade outdoor transparent plastic will do. This will require some expertise though.
Even if you do end up making your own portable greenhouse instead of buying a ready made portable greenhouse kit that you just need to assemble, you will still save so much more money either way. Having a traditional greenhouse build is expensive. You will need more wood, perhaps cement, steel frame windows and roof. You might also have to reroute or create more plumbing and electric wiring. However, if you opt for a portable greenhouse instead, you can just place it near your house and use the electricity and the water from the available sockets and plugs outdoors.
