This kit includes the 8' Conservatory Greenhouse and your choice of accessories. It is recommended that a vent is installed in each corner of your greenhouse. It is flexible and easy to work with. Four hanging rods are available for mounting accessories and hanging plants. Tie Down Kit Tie down kits are absolutely necessary to anchor your greenhouse. Solexx paneling transmits 70-75% of available light and is treated with UV inhibitors to block out harmful rays. In addition to blocking out harmful rays, this reusable cloth will also reduce heat. Black Shade Cloth This black shade cloth is crafted from polypropylene which is an extremely durable plastic and very resilient. Also included are double walled Solexx paneling. Choose one or two units to fit the built in frame. The piston is coated with a mineral wax that expands with a temperature increase. This greenhouse towers at 114" H. Each kit includes 4 anchors. As the wax cools the piston lowers and gradually closes your vent. Install this opener to the Easy-Flow louver vent included in this greenhouse. Two 12" H x 24" W Easy-Flow louvered air vents are included with all parts for assembly to get you started with proper ventilation. Each base vent is 4" H x 9" W. Easy-Flow Louver Solar Opener Solar powered openers close and open your greenhouse vents automatically in response to temperature changes. You also have the option of using up to four doors. They are also powder-coated to prevent rust. This will create cross-ventilation and will assure proper air flow. All Solexx greenhouses have composite material frames that look like PVC but are as strong as steel. Conservatory Greenhouse The Greenhouse Conservatory is Solexx's most spacious greenhouse. To circulate the air place a 16" fan at the back center of your greenhouse. Closeable Base Vents Base vents are essential in assuring that there is air continually flowing throughout your greenhouse. The tie down kit is strongly recommended to secure your greenhouse, as the Conservatory Greenhouse does not require a base or foundation. Assembly and disconnection is simple. You will need no site preparation or special foundation. The unit is free standing. A large 60" wide, double tiered bench frame is located in the center for optimum working space. We do recommend a level ground beneath it. Lastly, install six base vents one in each corner and one on each side wall. The following items are also recommended to ensure proper ventilation and can be found in the related items box in the top left column of the website. The frames are easy to assemble and come complete with all necessary hardware. Place the louvered window that is included with your greenhouse high on the front wall. Helpful Greenhouse Advice. Tie down kits will keep your greenhouse secure and stable even in the strongest winds. It will also keep your green house warm by effectively trapping heat. Attach these shelves to the pre-existing frames in the greenhouse. With this kit you are given the option to purchase two vents at a time. This greenhouse is lightweight which allows you to place it right over a pre-existing garden. It will give life to young seedlings, large plants, and even small trees. The corrugated plastic is constructed of high density polyethylene for the strength of corrugated cardboard and durability of plastic.
